Whole Again
Accompaniment:
Start w/ your back to the audience. The starting order is Anais in the back, Faye in front and to the left of her, Rosie even w/ Anais, and Anna even w/ Faye. Keep this position for about 2 ½ beats, then, turn to the left. Walk forward, taking one step for every beat, starting w/ your right foot. Before singing, turn 45* to the left.
If you see me...
Turn back to face the crowd, slowly.
Walking down the street
Step right leg out, and then bring it in. Snap both fingers down and walk backwards w/ a little attitude. (Faye will only use her right hand, holding the mic w/ the other one)
Staring @ the sky
Walk forward and make a bridge over your head w/ your left hand. (Faye will switch mic hands & use that hand.) Anais, Rosie, & Anna turn 45* to the right.
And dragging my two feet. You just
Faye walks forward, but the rest of PLAY kind of bob in place, twice, while shaking their hips a little.
Pass me by.
Step back w/ your right foot, then left, then step forward w/ your right. During the rest, join your left foot w/ your right.
It still makes me cry.
Faye walks off to the right and the rest of the girls free-style a little bit. On cry, turn your head to the right.
But you can make me whole again.
Stand still, w/ maybe a little bob here and there w/ the music. Slide in together @ whole again. During break, Faye again walks to the right (switching mic to left hand) and the rest of the girls group together in the center of the stage. Anna and Anais switch positions.
If you see me
With hands lightly on hips, shake shoulders, right shoulder up (if) 1st, then left (you.)
Using a peace sign, cross your right arm across your body, fingers over eyes, and cross left leg behind right, all @ the same time.
w/ another guy.
Bring your arm back around. Step your left foot back into position and round your right arm over head all @ same time,
Im laughin and Im jokin trying to get by.
Do kind of a cowboy thing w/ your right hand even w/ your head once. Snap your hand down on and. Step your left foot back and bob twice w/ the music, and then do the same w/ the right leg. For by, pop your left knee up and bob twice.
I wont put you down,
Bring your legs together, shake your shoulders twice. On down, push your right arm down between your legs (Rosie, Anais, and Anna go further down than Faye.)
Cuz I want you around,
Turn to the left while sliding your right hand across, kind of making a round motion.
You can make me whole again.
Rest until sliding together for whole again.
During four beats, just snap your body to the right four times.
CHORUS:
Looking back on when we 1st met,
W/ legs spread apart, use the peace sign to cross your eyes away from you. (looking) Either snap your fingers or point back w/ your thumb, still using your right hand. (back)
Now, bring your legs together and move your right arm across your body in front of you, as if offering somebody something. Kind of shake your hips or bob up & down @ the knees during this move.
I cannot escape it
Walk forward two steps, right foot 1st. Slide back and push your left hand out as if to say Whatever. You are now facing the right.
I cannot forget
With a fist-like-figure and your arm bent up, twist your body a little, and then twist back. (I cannot.) W/ both hands on the mic, do a wave w/ your body.
Baby, youre the one,
Kind of push and twist your right arm out to the side of you and twist forward. (baby, youre the) Float right arm up w/ the one sign.
You can do no wrong.
Float arm back down. (you can do no) Cross right arm over left and twist a little to the left @ wrong.
You can make me whole again.
Still using your right hand, point out to show you, and then bring your hand to your waist. Move hips to the left, then the right. Turn 45* to the left and bring your right arm to your heart.
Verse #2
This is kind of a free-style verse. During the break, Faye walks out to the left and the girls are on the right. Faye does her own thing, but PLAY kind of pop their hips and snap in the air along w/ the music while singing their ooos. On apart, PLAY meets in the center of the stage and free-style together. On whole again, they slide back, facing the left and knees popped up. During the four-beat break, they each step their right leg out to stand in chorus position in this order: Anna, Anais, Rosie, and Faye.
REPEAT CHORUS MOVES
So now, Ill have to wait
Anais walks forward and does her part. PLAY walks backwards and faces the right. While singing their ooos, they are snapping their left fingers and bending back a little while bending their left knee. When you here, its all ready been too long, slowly walk up to join Anais in this order: Faye, Anais, Rosie, Anna. There are now four beats until chorus. @ this time, walk backwards, one step for each beat, starting w. your left foot.
CHORUS
Stand in the same positions, maybe floating your arms up and down for the chorus.
Oh, whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh. Chorus
Faye will sing, and then you walk forward @ the beginning of the chorus for four beats and do the same as previous chorus.
Baby youre the one, you can do no wrong,
As Faye sings, just stand still and smile for the crowd.
You can make me whole again.
On whole, turn 45* to the left and kind of make a fan w/ your right hand. Pop your knee to make it look a little bit hotter.
